The Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation Community Talent Show
The Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation is a non-profit organization
established to encourage the strengthening of the minds of youth to a
new dimension through education.
Dr. Barbara Harkins was a life long educator who believed in the
power of teaching all children. Dr. Harkins felt that there wasn't
enough caring and concern in schools, and she wanted to influence
this disparity. Through the Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation Dr.
Harkins legacy of compassion will live on.
At the present time the organization is preparing to host its First
Annual Spotlight of Community Talent Show. The purpose of this event
is to allow the community to showcase their talents. The proceeds of
this event will benefit the organization and its future community-
based projects.
