    INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

    Unity Card is a black-owned and operated marketing company devoted to the needs of black entrepreneurs and the consumers they serve. Our mission is to connect, promote and empower black entrepreneurs and their consumers, both locally and nationally, through education, networking and advocacy. Currently, we are hiring interns to assist us in different areas of our mission. As an intern, you will face real-work challenges working for a fast-paced marketing company. You’ll gain valuable experience in an area of interest and/or study while giving back to your community. Your ability to demonstrate skills in real-world situations with a leader in the community marketing industry will open the door for future employment opportunities.
    Each intern will be responsible for working on a variety of tasks (including but not limited to what’s listed below) in one of the following departments:
    PUBLIC RELATIONS

    Develop affiliate relationships with different media
    Write press releases
    Attend networking events
    Arrange speaking engagements
    SALES

    Assist in fundraising and membership drives
    Contact potential sponsors
    Contact local business organizations
    MARKETING

    Work the registration desk at live events
    Assist in direct mailings
    Write copy for website and promotional materials
    Prepare sales literature
